Visualising instore concept designs

A long-standing client recently approached the Pix team to join forces for a high-status pitch
merchandise_caps_visual_MUFC

Our creative CGI department worked alongside Cardinal to create high quality visuals for the Manchester United store refit. The high standard visuals gave the national company a strong portfolio to present, establishing a competitive edge for the firm.

CGI is a great tool to test and develop product without the added expense of singular manufacture. Combinations are limitless testing material selection, product design and aesthetic details. Our in house designers developed the spatial design factoring in multi-use point of sale, architectural restrictions and how the space would visually look from a distance.

We think the final refit result are a great success, why not check out our architecture page on our new look website to see how our renders can help strengthen client pitches and presentations.

Grass Roots Location Photography

Team SV are proud to be part of the national initiative ‘Kit for Kids’. Our location photography team have been coordinating the national shoot, ensuring that every one of the 72 Football League Clubs in England have been photographed with their star players meeting their own local junior rising stars.

The community based initiative invited local youth clubs to say what a new team kit would mean to them. The lucky winners also have the privilege of their junior grass root stars of the future to visit their local team and meet the current star players.

The mammoth coordination is ongoing, with professional looking junior teams generating great publicity content which is being used across multiple social media platforms.

Trending-Island: the place to be seen in 2017

black_marble_island_shaker_kitchen

Statement islands will feature heavily in 2017, this is supported by worktop technologies and the wide array of new worktop finishes entering the market. Mixing is the name of the game: texture, thickness, height and colour - anything goes. Open storage features are also a must in your island design, stretch your creativity but keep it practical.

Use product creatively
kitchen_island_unusual

A split level island is a clever way to reduce the appearance of bulk without reducing worktop space. It’s also a nice way of softening the transition from kitchen to a dining/living space.

Get creative with lighting and give your island that flouting feeling, here we’ve paired it with a universal sliding doors system that adds real drama as well as creative display.

Contrast finishes
mixed_facia_kitchen

Mixing Worktop textures create a real statement contrasting not only finishes but thinness too, complimenting display features and splashbacks both play a big part in this look.

Make a feature with contrasting kitchen fascias, you need to be bold to make a statement it’s not the time to play safe…sometime more is more!

Sophisticated muted metallic mix

marble lamps copper metallic floor staning table.
This trending look is all about the muted metallic, mixing in a calm sophisticated way. Last year, strong, bold copper took the high street by storm, but this year we’ll see blush, muted copper mixing with calming golds. This look is all about mixing metallics and harmoniously integrating with the interior design as trend accent.

Mixing metallics as a focal pointCoper bath blush pink tiles grey kitchen

Every room needs a focal point and within the bathroom which has to be the statement bath. Why not get ahead of the rest with a brushed copper or gold bathtub. Offset it with a muted blush pink or grey colour scheme to create a calming look.

Here is an example of the overall trend, with blush pinks and light grey walls adding a softer approach to golds and copper propping. Here mixing metallics in a subtle way can be seen with the tile choice complementing the metallic propping.

Metallic accent in the homeCopper splashback chrome curtain poles

Within kitchens it’s not just the accessories which hint metallics. The big trend coming through uses metallic splashbacks which we will see more of in 2017. It’s a bold look we’ve seen in bespoke kitchens, but look out for some new year contenders who are getting in on the action with more affordable versions!

If large statement metallics are too much for your sense of style why not try simple accessories of the mixed muted metallic trend? A subtle way to add metallics to your home is by adding metals to parts of the room always left until last for decorating, such as curtain poles. See how these muted metals work together in complementary tones, work these across the home.

Vlog-Muted Pastel Hues

Hi Joel Young here, the CGI Stylist at Set Vision and welcome to our next VLog entry!

This month I’ve been looking at muted pastel hues which are set to be seen in different trends across the world of interior design for 2017, including the Terracotta and Desert Escape trends. These muted pastel hues are great because they have a natural base which allows them to work as a collective or as a basis with a diverse pop colour.

Why not grab a brew and a biscuit, sit back and relax and enjoy our latest VLog!
