Get The Look - Alfresco Living

Our love of botanicals has seen the biophilic trend influence all aspects of our life. Here we see the trend blur the lines of the ever-popular indoor and outdoor living.

Suiting family and social life, the trend sees our patios and gardens dressed with sofas, rugs, and atmospheric lighting. The rising popularity of fire pits and outside kitchen and dining has seen a surge of all weather-friendly products.

Here we used the look for one of our garden furniture clients. This stylish outdoor living shot is complete with a bespoke pergola, rug, and fire pit. Such an inviting space!

How to style up this look

• Layer up comfy textiles with cushions and throws on your outdoor sofa.
• Hang lanterns or lights to extend your summer evenings.
• Invest in a chimenea or firepit for an atmospheric focal point.
• An outdoor rug is soft underfoot and zones your seating area.

Interior Trend Focus - Sustainability Minded

More of a movement than a trend, sustainability and the use of organic materials have become prominent in interior design. Key pieces are carefully considered investments, the design aesthetic is as important as the origins of the materials used. Sustainable design incorporates reclaimed wood, recycled glass, and organic textiles.

These design values are intrinsic to our client’s organic wool-based bedding. Here we used a neutral colour palette and the use of natural materials are combined to create a relaxing, mindful space that is a perfect backdrop to showcase their products.

How to style up this look

  • Keep your colour palette earthy and neutral
  • Use furniture and accessories that are made from sustainable materials
  • Choose textiles made from organic or recycled materials
  • Display dried pampas and palm leaves to complete the look

Interior Trend Focus - Timeless Cashmere

Cashmere is the modern classic kitchen facia of choice. Slightly warmer than the cream predecessor, cashmere doors are the perfect investment for your kitchen.

Here we created a sophisticated design scheme, selecting key materials to pull the elegant look together. The slim marble worktop, expansive splashback and concealed lighting give a luxury touch…along with the essential cocktail bar!

How to style up this look

  • Keep within your selected material and colour palette.
  • Choose accessories that are silhouette in shape.
  • Geometric parquet is a modern version of the classic chevron.
  • Store all your unsightly clutter for a streamlined look.

Spring is here and it’s a perfect time to update your home office and get creative. Boho is an ideal style for your workspace, incorporating an eclectic mix of colours, patterns, and textures to bring a balance to the room.

The relaxed, global-inspired aesthetic bends traditional design rules to create a layered, personalised look.

Here we introduced subtle earth tones with a mix of natural and organic materials that bring the space to life without it being too distracting.

Get The Look: Inspirational Entrance

With 2021 ahead of us, why not take the opportunity to get through that DIY ‘to do’ list or even redecorate a space! With 2021 ahead of us, An area of the home that often gets overlooked is the hallway, a strong colour palette with lots of foliage and accessories can make the space look considered and welcoming.

Make sure the space is functional with plenty of hooks for coats and bags to avoid it becoming a dumping ground. A half-painted wall is a clever design choice, it keeps the space light and airy whilst preventing the lower half getting grubby from pets shaking off the rain or kids coming through in muddy sports kits.
